    Hi,

    Today, when I was playing FIFA 15, things started acting weird. My console would randomly enter the xbox home screen even though I did not press the Xbox logo on my controller. Then, out of nowhere, the "what would you like to do?" screen came up, and, even
    though I did not touch anything, the cursor moved to "turn off console" and my xbox promptly turned off. I tried turning on my xbox again (this time using my other controller) only to have the same thing happen within the first 10 seconds of rebooting. Now,
    when I disconnected my xbox from the internet (I have a wired connection), the console stayed on. But once I reconnected the internet, the console shut itself off again. Is my console hacked? Is it a bug? Or something else? Thank you for any help.

    Xbox 360 Slim turns off when connected to internet. It first turns on fine but after a few seconds of connecting to xbox live it restarts. Please help

    sorry forgot to mention, the xbox also doesnt connect to the internet through the router often, i keep having to either turn off then turn on the router, or restore to factory defaults just to get it connecting to the internet again, then it still fails
    at the final hurdle when trying to connect to live itself

    there isn’t an active box. there are disable, allow, or deny boxes though. my xbox was connected to the internet fine then the xbox randomly turned itself off and it won’t connect. i’ve reset the wifi and everything.

    If all of your other games work when not connected to Xbox Live, then the same should happen with GTA V. This looks like a bug with the game itself. Try to start the game while connected to Xbox Live, and while playing, turn off your internet connection and check if the game keeps running. Make sure that you are on the Story Mode.

    This issue seems to have mysteriously resolved itself after 4 days. When I turned the console on this morning it simply worked.

    I can only assume that the problem was some glitch in the connection between my Internet service and the Xbox LIVE marketplace.
