    Xbox Turning On By Iteself And Ejecting Discs


    I bought an Xbox One back in September, and it started turning on and ejecting discs by itself after 3 months. So I contacted support and told them, and they sent me a new one. And after having the new one for less than a week, it started doing the same
    exact thing! I need help, please?!

    My xbox one has been turning on by itself lately when no one is home or while watching tv. Also the eject starts to to beep while playing games and even ejects the disc on its own, sometimes even when the console is off. Anyone having the same issue or know
    why it does this. Im worried its starting to mess up but i dont want to exchange it at gamestop yet because their warranties are one time use and i dont want to waste it so soon.

    Is your room hot or do you have something over the buttons? Those sre sensory, so it may have to do with that.

    It's winter, and I don't use my heater much (so an average of 70 degrees). So I don't think it's getting hot. And no nothing is near the buttons at all..

    It's winter, and I don't use my heater much (so an average of 70 degrees). So I don't think it's getting hot. And no nothing is near the buttons at all..

    What you could do to try to ensure discs arent harmed When you eject them, you could try turning the machine off and pressing the eject button to turn the machine on and eject the disc. Surely it cannot spin if you don't give it chance to ?

    Strange that it turns iteself off.

    Are there any heat issues going on?

    I would also advise doing a hard reset of the console as our wonderful mod pointed out.

    It is safer and better for the disc to quit out of the game before removing the game. Either turn off your console and then eject the disc or return to the home screen, press the menu button and select quit before ejecting the disc.
