Xbox Turn Off!!!! Then Yes doesn't work!!!!

Ever since this last update anytime I tell my xbox to turn off, and then it prompts me to say yes or no to confirm....Yes does not work at all and I have to go turn on my controller or use my phone or tablet in smartglass to select yes to confirm the turn
off.

Anyone else having this issue?????

Voice Commands since Update

I am having the same issue since the update. "Xbox turn off" works, but then gets stuck at the "yes/no" dialog. I end up having to turn on my controller to turn off the xbox.

I have an embarrassing question. ><

The answer is simple. Try it. If you say xbox turn off and it turns off your 360 as well, then hey presto it works. If your 360 stays on then you guessed it. It doesn't work. Simple.

Yes! It always worked in the past but just last night the console would not respond to "yes". I have heard a full power cycle (power cable out) will sort it out but I haven't tried yet myself.

I had issues attempting to turn on and off my xbox since the update by voice commands. It acts like it doesn't recognize "on", "yes", and "no". I been using the controller to turn it off.

Will try this fix later on today, hopefully it works.

Perhaps you should try and re-setup your kinect voice recognition.

My issue is the same. The Xbox sensor reads all of my other commands, but when it comes to turning off my console it doesn't recognize yes or no commands. It pops up the screen to turn it off, but won't allow me to say "yes" or "no".

And all this happened after the previous update. Before it was working perfectly.

I just started having this problem in the last couple of days. Worked fine from day one for the "turn off" operation ("xbox on" requires YELLING, but after that everything worked fine without yelling). But now, it recognizes the "turn off" as before. It
just doesn't recognize "yes". It used to do so just fine.

Yes I've turned off parental approval, the website doesn't work and my father is saying that the money was taken from his account
