Xbox tried to charge my recurring gold payment 2 weeks early?

For the time being, I'm having to do 1 month recurring payments for Xbox live. Was last charged on November 2nd 2016. My bank account was charged and I received an email from Microsoft confirming my live had been renewed. Yet yesterday, November 16th, I
receive an email saying they could not charge my card. Funds are low this week due to an unforseen car repair.

Do they check early for funds?

I play a lot of Ark: Survival Evolved, and am now too worried my service will be cut to dedicate myself to any builds or tames.

Just looking for some reassurance that my live will remain active at least until I get paid next week.

Xbox Live Gold Subscription Issue

I tried but because I have EA Access and Xbox Gold recurring it wont allow me to remove the card, which really sucks. It's still counting gold as a recurring subscription and says it'll charge my card $21.90 on the 5th or around that date, which was yesterday, even though I'm not a gold member as of now.

Dude stop asking people on the forums and call Xbox Support! You should have done that from the get go, it's very naive to think any one of US could resolve your specific billing issues. CMON!

Hey Fifth Gamertag! You will be billed on the day you created the billing account (in this case it sounds like the 16th) but you will not lose the live status until 45 days after that date. So when you get paid you should be able to pay for the next month
and not see a lapse in your Live. If you have any issues when the time comes, give

support a call and they can give you a hand. Thanks!

Since that's a charge for a game, it's not a recurring payment. You would only have a recurring payment if you purchase a subscription for gold, game pass, EA Access.

I have a 3 month recurring payment subscription that was due to be payed on the 20th of January. I also have a 1 month recurring payment subscription that is currently payed for.

I currently do not have access to my games with gold. I have seen dual charges both labeled as Xbox Live Gold in differing amounts ($24.99 and $9.99 to be precise).

I also have an Xbox Game Pass account and am currently past due on it, but that isn't part of my concern.

They need a card payment attached since it will be a recurring charge.

Hey,

if its a recurring payment you can visit the payment and billing page and turn off the recurring payments. It will let you finish off the current cycle and will not charge your account further.
