Xbox trial codes please read

Thanks for reading and thank you in advance for replying.

Dear xbox lovers, I had 3 two week trial codes from xbox one games, all the same games too... I checked if all codes worked first before redeeming one. So I redeemed one knowing they all work now the first 2 weeks is over and now the 2 codes I have left
come up as invalid codes which I know they worked before I actually redeemed one..

I had no issues when playing live.. so what's happened to the codes which I know were working before hand O and I tried the codes on another account

The 2 week trial codes are for new accounts. You cannot use them to extend or reactivate a Gold account.

You can use them on any account that doesn't have an active gold subscription. It doesn't have to be a new account.

How did you test the codes? The only way to know for sure if a code works is by redeeming them. If you had actually redeemed them all at the same time, they would have overwritten each other since trials do not stack.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the codes for trials are game specific. In other words, if the trial came with COD Ghosts, it will only work with that game. So if you were given a trial code for a game you do not own or have access to, it will
not work for other games you might have. Now, please understand that I am not totally sure of this, I just seem to remember reading it somewhere, so I could be totally wrong here.

Please bear in mind Xbox Gold trials does not stack to each other. If you redeemed a 14 day trial code then redeem a 2 day code it will remove the 14 day trial code. Have you redeemed other codes besides the 14 day trial?
