Xbox Transfer Cable - Everything shows up, but 0 of 0 files available on old HDD for most slots

So, I don't have the problem of this not working. Connects up just fine. Cable was recognized, screen pops up, then what the heck? Most of the slots are showing 0 of 0 files on a 250 GB drive that is pretty full (transferring to a 320 GB drive). Some of
the slots have data to transfer that I recognize, but it can't seem to find everything else.

Suggestions O' Xbox gods of the ethereal plane?

HELP!!! Tranferring Saved Games and Profiles from old XBOX HDD to new Elite system - 4G

the elite is built in so there's no attaching, maybe I have the slim, I assumed they are the same, it's a brand new 4G xbox 360, but yes, I'm attempting to attached old HDD via transfer cable I bought but the recognition screen I'm supposed to get to transfer
content never comes up. Also, I have the 10.8G of files from CONTENT folder saved to a 16G USB stick but when the xbox reads the stick it shows all the categories to transfer files from but they are all empty, 0 of 0 to transfer.

 

Saves are not transfering

What's weird is in my achievements section on the Xbox One I have two achievement slots for Bad Company 2. One slot shows all my progress and new achievements show up here but there is no section that shows time played. In the second slot it shows time played
on Xbox One in one section and a second section is for achievements which shows 0/0 achievements and that's all that this second slot shows. Very strange!

 

The only things that transfer over are your profile and games and avatar items but arcade games will not transfer you'll have to redownload them again.

 

Exactly. I have many, many games, profiles, and DLC. NONE of it is showing up. It's spooky. I put the drive back in the old console and it's all there. It's not not showing up for the transfer.

I kind of wish it was the usual "HDD not recognized" problem or something.

 

When you click on the content you want to transfer does it give you the option to transfer license? That would be by next suggestion.

 

According to the instructions, transfer of the licenses happens after transfer of the files.

Guess what. It just showed up. We let it sit for a couple hours. It may have been that it needed to count all the files.

Ew. This is going to be a long, long transfer.
