Hello people this is gonna be a rant/my opinion on Xbox’s TOS. If you feel the same pls be sure to respond, if not then i guess your here just cause you saw TOS. Anyway it all started when i got my first communication suspension on xbox for saying
[Mod Removed] keep in mind that is a very simple but harsh way of getting rage out we curse its just in our nature. So i got a week long supspention for that i was thinking wow really i bet everyone says that and dosent get suspended. I was
mad but it was only a week so its fine. I got another communication ban but this time for saying “you suck”, and im like really! I got banned for saying you suck to someone its not even a curse word. Im very ticked and i get a week and a half long suspention.
Today i got my 3rd communication suspention for yet again saying f u no joke 2 letters
[Mod Removed] i didnt know you can get banned for saying 2 letters can i get banned for saying xD i really do wanna test it to see if im the only problem in the communication section of the xbox tos. I just dont get xbox someone could be getting
bullied online, getting death threats, you could say [Mod Removed] to a cheater and report him but will xbox do somthing to the cheater hell no they will look at the message you sent and suspend you for doing the right thing! Like wtf i am
losing hope on the world every time i get suspended and for every time someone else in my situation gets banned or suspended. Can we all just take a min and relize how many many people are getting
[Mod Removed]not just on xbox but in the real world aswell. I just cant anymore its just crazy how many real serious situations xbox could be handling and dealing with but just have to spot my and others 1 word to trigger there immediate suspention
button. I do have very bad rage and i know i need to ignore teabaggers but im just very competitive and i want to win. I need to learn to have fun more and stop getting mad at every little thing that i know will end up happening. Man this felt good to get
out i just wanted to let everyone know how bs xbox’s tos is. Again if anyone if feeling the same thing i feel you very hard, also its just my opinion so please dont judge. Thank you for reading if you did and yea if i get suspended again just expect another

Xbox TOS

I logged onto Xbox.com tonight and it asked me to accept the TOS again from back in october. I did of course and it asked me to log in to my parental account. I didnt want to do this, so i clicked on my account tab and it now says i have no friends, no activity...nothing!
Please help!

There's a current issue with the friends activity, that is normal, but if you are a minor or haven't promoted your account to adult you will need the parental account's password to accept ToU. If it's forgotten you can reset it at account.live.com.

Once you have reset the parental password or input the parental password and if you are over the age of 18 you can promote your account to adult by going to My Account over in Settings, arrow over to the right twice to the Your Information area and select
Promote Account. It will require the input of a valid cc (no charge) to prove you are of age. I don't believe it has to be in your name.

-If you were a member of a family pack at one point, and are over age you still are required to promote your account, and if your being stopped by ToU you will still need their password, I don't believe support has any way around this either.

 

The enforcement team does not use the forums and can only be contacted on enforcement.xbox.com via the case review process if you are eligible for one. Even implied profanity if considered against the terms of use/code of conduct on Xbox Live.

 

The part of the COC that those two letters would fall under for being suspended is

"Content that promotes, or sounds or looks like words, phrases, puns, images or imagery that refer to any prohibited content"

read but it may help clarify things. If you do visit enforcements site, it is interesting to wander about reading all the information held there. It helped me out, a few years back and I have been on the straight and narrow since. Enjoy your gaming, if you
feel rage, step away either from the game or console, have a brew (tea or coffee, your choice) and relax for a while. We all make mistakes but the biggest is not learning from them.
