    When they think about it long enough, even Sony's most vicious MS hating fans will be happy about this (Like there was any real doubt) because video games thrive on competition. If Sony were the only player... where would the effort come from?

    Sounds good. I said on a previously locked thread, that it needs to stay with Microsoft, but the just need to alter a few things, and change tact slightly. Microsoft do not need to worry IMO

    Console generations are not solely about launch, It is the long haul, but even back in 2012, a few pubs were saying the last gen went on too long. Now the new Gen is out, we are seeing some terrific new IP's and Multi plats come out. (and some of the same
    old crap. LOL)

    My only concern is that Stephen Elop is taking over Devices and Studios. I do love my Nokia Lumia. But his whole purpose when he went to Nokia was to sell to Microsoft. A true CEO would have made the company a success.

    I don't think Microsoft are going to sell the Xbox brand (not anytime soon anyway), not when they pick up ex Sony employees and this generation has just started. How much money have Microsoft spent on the Xbox One so far.
