Wondering if the Xbox One will still stream to the computer without being connected to a TV. I am in the middle of getting a TV but scooped up a deal on the X1 and hooked it up to a TV downstairs temporarily to sign in and update and was able to get the
stream to work then, but now that I moved it upstairs to my room and plugged it in, it will not respond to the computer turning it on. So wondering is the TV a required part?

    :)

    Computer Speakers to TV

Well I'm shocked, that there isn't any Analogue outputs, when there is Analogue inputs... It's only outputting Optical out from ADC that the Component Inputs to.. It wouldn't of been hard for them to output analogue Audio..

I believe it is required to have a TV for the Xbox One to let you stream, or do much of anything, really.

One possible option is to hook it directly to your PC's monitor. If you have a PC monitor with support for HDMI or DVI (which almost all monitors do), you can simply hook your Xbox One up to your monitor (you'll need an adapter for DVI, but thankfully they're
very cheap and easy to find). If your monitor doesn't have built-in speakers (which most monitors don't), you can hook a headset up to your controller via the stereo adapter.

If you're not a fan of unplugging cables when wanting to play on your Xbox, you can pick up a HDMI switch or KVM fairly cheaply off Amazon or somewhere like that.

Questions concerning the Xbox One's Audio

Is there anything I can do to connect speakers to it without using a TV, computer screen with ports or integrated speakers, or spending a lot on a home entertainment system?

Will you buy a Xbox One if it starts to have games that appeal to you?

But a laptop computer can do Skype, Blu-Ray/DVD, and TV (Without ads....>_>) so for most, those features are utterly useless.

Microsoft screwed me, this is the only help i got. contact me if this happened to you. time to do something

My tv tnd computer never went dark. I was playing Xbox, Xbox shut off. My tv did not. When I changed my HDMI setting on my tv, it worked fine. My computer turns on, just no video. I checked the electric company first; no power surge. It was definitely
the Xbox. My father is an electronic technician for postique. He checked out the computer and tv, the problem originated from the Xbox

    Xbox 360s controller

I use my xbox without the tv on all the time. I also use my computer without a monitor, in fact I'm typing this reply right now without one. The secret is that you need psychic powers that allow you to 'see' what would be on the screen in your head. Saves
a lot of money on needing to buy monitors/tvs and also on the power to run them. I also never use lights, unless I have company, since I can just Daredevil my way around the house in the dark.
