Yeah I agree, less paywalls for any upcoming apps. I know someone here mentioned that Phil was interested in removing the gold barriers? So that's a start if it ends up happening.

See guys, idk how I feel about that, on one hand more apps is great, but then they start getting tons of junk with banners, micro-transactions and in general lots of low quality apps, like in Windows 8 App Store. But I'd love to see Google Music or Spotify,
WWE Network too!

That's one of the things I like about Xbox Live - they generally only accept things of high quality (the sole exception being their Indie channel on the Xbox 360).

@DIMAP71 - Supposedly, the apps that make it on to Xbox One will be curated. If some silly fart app is released for Windows Phone, it doesn't mean it's going to appear in the app section of the Xbox One dashboard. Hopefully MS get the balance right when
deciding what to allow on the service.

Yeah the balance will be the most important thing here. I mean I would love to see Phil live up to his word and I firmly believe that he will and as GG put it, become one of the best leaders around. Though it also opens a lot of doors to advertising. Which

Third party apps such as HBO GO are the responsibility of that third party. So it is up to HBO to make an app for xbox one. As far as streaming goes skydrive is available to stream movies

As long as said apps don't start becoming complete and utter crap like most of the stuff you might see on the MS Store (similar to how crappy the Indie games section is on the Xbox 360 if you want another parallel).
