Xbox thinks i've modded my xbox and is voiding my warrenty when i havent modded anything.

I went to use my xbox 360 one night and it needed updating. So as usual i clicked the update button and allowed it to update. But when it turned back on, everything was erased. So i proceeded to try to re-download my profile. It wouldn't alllow me to, and
everything i entered was correct. So then i just turned off my console until i could have someone in my family take a look at it. we turned it back on a few days later and all the profiles were there, but none of them showed our avatars. i went to your website
to figure out what the error code about my profile it was giving me meant, and it said they were corrupted.so i proceeded to try to delete every thing and every profile and nothing would remove from my console. no matter how many times i erased everything
it would still be there when i turned it back on. Now, i tried to send it in to you and your saying my warrenty is invalid because you think i've modified my xbox, but why would i want to ruin my warrenty that way? on top of the fact that i dont even know
how to do that or how it would even benifit me consiering i'd lose coverage of my xbox. i havent broken any rules. i would just like my xbox fixed please.

I've NEVER modded or hacked anything and i have never opened my xbox...

cant update, Xbox thinks I've modded, which I havent, So they wont let me online, there idea, buy a new xbox! ARE YOU KIDDING!

I don't think anybody in the forums here can help, therefor I advise you to contact Xbox Support to see if they can find out anything why they think your console was modded.

It's hard to say really. It could be hardware or software modifications. Microsoft uses stringent methods to figure out if something has been modified, and usually when they flag something (by the sounds of it, your console flagged itself before you updated),
it's set in stone. If you bought the console used, that's probably why. If anyone has 'repaired' the console, that's probably why. Even if it was working fine and now is banned, you can't do anything about it. It's very, _very_ rare for support to say 'yeah
we made a mistake'.

All your stuff, including everything anyone on that console bought, all DLC, Microsoft Points/Balance, All save files, and data is irretrievable. Microsoft doesn't like cheaters, and bans the accounts as well as the consoles permanently.

Contact support, but this is the answer you'll probably get.

 

i chatted with an xbox assistant and this was the forum he told me to post to.

 

and support has made a mistake because i have done absolutely nothing but use my console.
