    Xbox thinks its on ethernet


    I have had an xbox series x for a couple years now and recently it has been saying it is connected via ethernet eheb it isn’t. Ive tried restarting it, and i also tried hard resetting it, but nothing worked. I figured it was an issue with the console so i turned it in for money back and got a series x, after about 10 minutes of it working fine, its having the same issue.

    I have same issue, doesn't connect when connected to ethernet cable but when I start up Xbox on WiFi connection works. All other games can be played online with ethernet cable in so I think its it's something to do eith the game/on their side.

    getting 2 ethernet issues probably means your router is the issue or the wire, in my long history with computers and networking i have not seen ethernet fail. and if your wifi was surgingas you say leads me to thinks its your router too.

    Ye I think its xbox live to be fair I have 200 download speed but downloading a 50gb game took a couple of hours and I have min conecte6via ethernet cable for faster speed . 🤔🤪

    need for speed most wanted freezing at random times

    mine started freezing at the start of EVERY single player race... i think its trying to do somthing on xbox live cause as soon as i unplugged the ethernet cable to worked fine, as soon as i connect to xbox live... it freezes again
