Xbox thinks app is fully downloaded when it's not

hello,

i have a brand new Xbox one with 380gb free. I downloaded pandora and it failed, but now my Xbox thinks it's fully downloaded when it isn't. The file size is 300kb, and it just brings up the button to install. Install fails because it's not fully downloaded.

If if I go to manage there is not an option to delete it. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this without starting my disk from scratch?

if I do start from scratch, all I really do is play diablo, are my characters saved locally on disk or on a server? hopefully I won't have to go this route, but it may be fastest if I cant easily delete this app.

I just downloaded on another phone (IPhone 8, Xbox app fully updated, IOS fully updated) and it worked perfectly.

I think ur version of is might not be compactable fully with XBOX ONE SMARTGLASS. Another possibility is that app has bugs. And MS need to patch it.

 

Hey there all saves are saved to the cloud so uninstalling any game will keep the save until you choose to delete it. My games & apps - Diablo - press the start button - manage game - save data if you wish to keep your current save then it is best not to
delete that. And removing any profile will not delete the save from the cloud it'll be there at any time.

For the App pandora lets try this remove and re-add your profile to the console.

Remove) Settings - Account - remove accounts

Add account) Double Tap the xbox home button - go above the friends section - and you'll find Add & manage that will let you add your accounts back if you wish.

Once you removed and re-added the profile lets try deleting it if you cannot delete it try heading to the store section an see if you can re-download it an then delete it or cancel the download.

 

That did not work. This is a system wide issue, my wife has a profile too and it just comes up to install. I

There is no option to delete, just more info and install. When trying to install it just says something went wrong.

Seriously all I want to do is delete this botched download. This is pre install, is there not an option to delete the dl? Going to the store and finding pandora just gives me option to install witch obviously fails. More specifically when I press install
it says try again later something happened on our end.

My thought is that since it is a 300kb file that it didn't dl all the way and somehow thinks it did. Do when I go to install it gives this error. It's not on microsoft server end, it's on my end.

To resolve this I really just need to get this dl deleted so I can download it again

 

To delete apps on Xbox One Select the location where the game or app is stored. ...

Select the game or app logo, press the Menu button , and then select Uninstall.

To delete saved data, select the saved data file, press the Menu button , and then select Delete saved data. After the app is deleted you can reinstall the app. If all else fails you could always call Xbox support. There phone number is 1-800-469-9269.

 

Yeah maybe I should call. I would uninstall if it gave me that option, as I said before it's not installed so it makes sense there isn't an option to uninstall.
