    Hello, since the last update my console lights up alone and almost at the same time every day.

    Yet I have no kinect and I have the power saving mode in settings.

    Update bricked my Xbox One!

    So last Monday I awoke to see an update waiting for my Xbox One. I set it off. About an hour later I came back to it and the screen was off, as was the white front light.

    I pressed the light/button to turn it on, nothing, so I thought I'd leave it alone in case it was still up to something, and left home for a couple days on a short trip.

    I got back last night and it was still dead. Today I tried a bunch of things:

    - Removed power, waited a couple minutes, re-connected. Nothing.

    - Removed all cables, removed the disc that was in there. Waited 2 hours. Re-connected everything. Nothing.

    - Tried inserting a disc to see if it would wake up. Nothing.

    Power supply light is orange.

    No power surges the day of the update. No storms, it was a beautiful sunny morning.

    I can't believe an update has killed my xbox... cmon guys, what gives?

    Do you have automatic updates enabled? Is the console plugged into a power strip/surge protector or directly into a wall outlet?

    The light on the controller speeds up , and the. It vibrates and goes off ? All the time and if I connect it through a usb cable the buttons don’t work properly and it flicks all over the place, since it’s last updated that’s when it unpaired and the buttons stopped working as normal
