    Anybody else have issues dealing with the terrible customer service provided through the text support. I had a simple problem with the way my repair order was being handled and I got nothing but a runaround read off a script. I contacted them 3 times and
    received little to no help each time. They each provided me the same useless information I already had and assurance that I'm lucky to be receiving a refurbished console, thanks to a manufacturer defect with the blu-ray drives used on some of the day one
    consoles. I've had a xbox and 3 xbox 360s go bad on me, but dealing with these agents over this simple little problem is the first time I actually am thinking about moving away from the brand.

    Then show text 'wrong profile, contact xbox customer service' and it doesn't work

    How to fix?

    Sorry to see you have these problems, all you can do is keep calm, also your not lucky to get a replacement you are entitled to it, your just unlucky to be speaking to someone who doesn't have a clue about customer service, hope you get it sorted soon.

    I just miss the days when you could send and email or call customer service, now my only options are to use this abysmal text service, contact them on twitter, or post sensitive material in a public forum. Two of the customer support reps I got even said
    they would forward my concerns to somebody who could be of more help, but I never received any indication that it actually occurred, very frustrating.

    yeah, support is terrible.

    The power supply unit on my console died within 3 months - support didn't seem terribly bothered that it broke so quickly.

    Supposedly its been returned thursday morning last week, but they are unable to provide any proof that it has actually been sent.

    They promise to find out tracking information, and "we'll call you later today" but that never happens and they make other promises they won't keep.

    When you ask for a manager rather than waste 40 minutes talking people with no ability to solve anything - they insist on trying to help 1st .... which amounts to them saying "we can't do anything" and they are even less willing to escalate the case - its
    like getting blood from a stone.

    When my 360 had problems, support was great, it red ringed twice and they repaired it and got it back within a week....this time around its like they don't give a ***.

    I have nothing but regret buying an xbox one - if I could get my money back on it I would do it in a heartbeat.

    I just don't get why there is such lack of care on Microsoft's part. They seem to be bending over backwards with price cuts and game pack-ins for new customers, but not caring about older customers who supported them with our wallets since day one.

  9. I've called them 3 times and chatted twice. None understood my problem and refused to believe me about what was happening.

    It's very frustrating when you have games in plastic and time to play but no console to play them on. I was tempted to go buy a new one buy, then Id have 2 of these things. I am so disenchanted with support and the way they treat people who have been their
    "bread and butter" over the years. Playstation is looking better and better.

  11. try calling and speaking to a xbox rep. 1-800-4-my-xbox. toll free lines open 24/7. you guys may have better luck that way instead of emailing, forums or txt support

    I received my Xbox back, only it was a replacement not a repair. Now I'm stuck reinstalling all my games and downloads. I called 1-800-4my-xbox, while polite, they were equally helpless to answer my concerns. He did inform me that Microsoft should have
    contacted me about the exchange, they didn't, they should have contacted me to make sure everything is working fine, I wasn't, and put a high priority note on my account to let the proper people who can help me to get in touch, they haven't. Overall a complete
    failure at every level in the process.

    try calling and speaking to a xbox rep. 1-800-4-my-xbox. toll free lines open 24/7. you guys may have better luck that way instead of emailing, forums or txt support
