    Hello.. well this morning i bought a 1 month so i could keep my gold membership going because it will be my 9th year of having xbox live gold... my tenure would be 9... keep in mind i dont buy gold immedietely when i go silver.. but anyway i redeemed the
    code and i went gold... at first it wasnt showing i was gold immedetely it took about 5 minutes... so it turns gold but then.... it didnt show my tenure at ALL! So i signed into my other account on my 360 and it showed i was still silver...? So i kept going
    back and fourth and it finally updated on my other account that i was gold without a tenure... i dont understand?... its not like i waited 6 month to get gold even then i should still get my tenure back... can someone please help!!

    Still, still not receiving tenure for Xbox Community Level. Still not able to access the Ambassador forums.

    I'm talking about Xbox Community Level Tenure, not Xbox Gold tenure. Xbox Community Level tenure is supposed to increase for contributing as an ambassador for consecutive days.

    It can take some time for your tenure to show back up after adding a new subscription. You'll just have to give it time to update.

    I think some people are confusing Xbox Live tenure and community level tenure and are thinking the sticky thread here in this section will fix there XCL tenure.

    Hey there Linux,

    We double checked your tenure and it should just be showing 2 full years of tenure.

    For more information on how tenure is calculated, please refer to our Tenure Sticky.

    Tenure is based on the cumulative amount of Xbox LIVE Gold time a user has. While you do not lose tenure when you go Silver, Xbox LIVE Silver time does not accrue tenure. You will see your tenure increase only when the year of Xbox LIVE Gold time has finished.

    For your first year of Xbox LIVE Gold you will see a '0' and increase to '1' year of tenure when that year is up! For example, if you've had Xbox LIVE Gold for 3 years and 6 months, you'll see a tenure of '3' next to your Gamertag.
