Xbox Tenure Incorrect

I had first gotten Xbox Live in December of 2011. I hadn’t missed an Xbox Live payment until 2017, which I bought it a day later. My account Tenure should have updated from 5 to 6 years this December, but it is stuck at 5. Any help?

Xbox Tenure incorrect

Hi there,

A few weeks ago (Near the start of Feb) I noticed something strange when viewing my Xbox Live profile. It seems my account went from a 2 to a 1. I've been Gold since March 2011, and was silver from March 18th to Mid-May 2012. I then went back to gold. Will
this break in the Gold membership revert me back to new tenure status? Or does it not count to the overall year total? I just want to know if this is a glitch or not as my tenure should be 3 this year, but it's reading 1 now.

Xbox Tenure incorrect

You will be showing the correct tenure at 1 year, 2011 to 2012 is one year, going silver does not count towards tenure with the way the tenure is now calculated from earlier in the year, you will go back to 2 come May as may 2012-2013 will make it another
year.

Hi there,

A number of users have had tenure glitches that cause their tenure to either decrease or remain stuck where it is. It eventually corrects itself.

It’s been almost 3 more weeks and my tenure is still at 5 not 6. Any update on how I could fix this?

If you read the sticky about the tenure issue you'd have seen that there was an issue with people showing an incorrect tenure, including a tenure of more time then they really acquired.

Still incorrect tenure. I've tried everything in the link and still missing my 5 year tenure. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I did the troubleshooting steps in the sticky, and my tenure is still incorrect.

I'm not sure how to check tenure on Xbox.com, but on my Xbox my tenure has showed 3 for at least 1.5 years that changed this year, and instead of going up my tenure went down.

I did clear my cache, delete my profile, etc. Still no luck.

'Tenure' is the name of the feature you refer to, and there is currently many many people hit with it being incorrect.

It wont affect any game play or account info in any way, and xbox support is looking into the issue.
