    Hi, recently I noticed my tenure dropped from 8-5, I am about 30 days away from my auto renewal date which would roll my tenture to 9 but I'm concerned... I cannot think of a reason for my tenure to drop from 8 years to 5 years but any light that can be
    shined on the subject would be great. I know it is a petty thing but I thought having the the high tenure was a cool way of showing my loyalty to xbox (which I absolutely adore Xbox tenure drop from 8-5 :D)

    My Tenure is showing the wrong years

    My tenure was randomly changed from 8 to 5 years. Then a few days later changed from 5 years to 7 years. I tried deleting the profile then recovering it but it didn't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

    My tenure went from 5 to 2 a few years ago. It should be 8 right now. I have an online achievement unlocked with a date of 2007.

    Same here, I showed 8 year tenure and after my auto renewal on jan 6th it dropped my tenure to 6 years. I have been a gold member since jan 2004 with no interruptions. I called Xbox customer support but the tech could not help me. This is pretty annoying.

    Mine should be 8 and it shows up as 6. Hoping this gets fixed soon.

    OTOH my hubby's tenure was 10..dropped to 7 and is back up to 10 so they are fixing it :)

    Xbox Live Tenure problem

    I'm having that same issue. On my Xbox 360 profile it shows the right tenure (8 years) but on my Xbox One profile it shows 5 years. I've tried contacting the support team twice so far but they weren't able to help me fixing it... Hopefully someone from the
    engineering team will see this and come up with a fix soon...

    If I were to guess what the problem is, I'd say that Microsoft is now using you Microsoft account creation date to calculate your tenure instead of using your gamertag creation date (because I remember changing my Microsoft account email 5 years ago to a
    brand new Microsoft account so that's why I think it's showing 5 years instead of 8 on my Xbox One profile).
