Xbox "tampered" with

Hi, about three weeks ago I was playing on my Xbox one s and it suddenly turned off and wouldn't turn back on, when you press the on button it makes to sound and lights up for a second then nothing, I tried a new cable, a different plug socket but nothing
worked. I rang Microsoft and they told me to send it to them which I did, I got the Xbox back about a 12 days later with a note saying that when they inspected it they they found I had "tampered" or opened it which isn't true and they have canceled my warranty
on it. I've tried going to Currys which is where I bought it from but they won't deal with it and say it's up to Microsoft, please help because I have not tampered or opened it, I'm thinking about complaining to trading standards if they will not fix it.

He said I tampered with my xbox, Also the xbox was bought brand new. You guys are nothing but microsoft fanboys. The director says I PHYSICALLY tampered with my xbox, yet the seal is on.

You would have to continue working directly with support.

 

How long ago did you buy the console? If under 12 months in the UK it is the job of the retailer to deal with issues you are having.
