    Xbox Talon media remote not working fully


    So I recently got my Xbox series X, and I switched all my stuff from the Xbox One X I had over to the Series X. When I used the remote i noticed that i couldn’t control the volume of the TV and other TV functions that I used to be able to do with
    my One X. I saw some old videos on to to setup the remote in the Xbox setting, but it looks like Microsoft moved then to another section or got rid of it altogether. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Or At least setup the remote the old way in the
    settings?

    Hello Dimenson,

    Our understanding here is that the control/remote attempting to be used on the Xbox One is the Talon Media Remote, but the console is not recognizing your TV or it's model type.

    Is this only occurring when connecting with the Talon Media Remote?

    Has there been use of other media remotes with the console?

    Has this been attempted with a different television?

    Clarify this for us and we'll be here to assist with further with this issue.

    Ah. I guess the remote is actually called "Talon Media Remote." If that helps.
