    Xbox takes extremly​ long to connect to the internet


    my Xbox one s takes extremely long time to connect tot the internet why i put it in standby mode (15min give our take) i don't have this problem when it is in energy saving mode (it's connected by ethernet btw) my Xbox is up to date with it software

    Cant connect to XBOX Live

    I installed Halo 4 yesterday and played online and everything was fine. I go out for a bit and come back and it wont connect to xbox live. i decide to give it a break and try again this morning but it still wont work. I go to connect and it takes a long
    time then finally says 'cant connect to xbox live' so i hit test connection. It takes a long time to load that too and connects to the network and internet easily but then it takes a long time on xbox live. Finally it connects to xbox live as if everything
    is normal, i go to sign in, and the same problem happens again. I should also note that my internet is working fine, ive restarted my modem, and my xbox usually never runs this slow. Pleaseee help me!

    Xbox One will no longer connect to the Internet

    Just wanted to say thanks BobMcFly247! Once I rebooted the system it found my internet connection just fine. Hope this helps someone else.

    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength (if applicable)
    • Modem Manufacturer
    • Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

    i did what you said an download my profile onto my brothers xbox which uses the same internet connection an my acoount was working perfectly all night without loosing connection. this morning i tried to redownloading my profile back on to my xbox an the
    same problems as before are still there. extremly long loading times an crashing, also it cannot fully download my profile bk onto my xbox as it says the same error occurs which i mentioned in the my previous response. does this mean that there is a fault

    This means that your Internet connection is going out randomly, such that connections are taking a really long time to complete, or having to retry a lot. If your Xbox is connected via WiFi, try connecting it via a wired connection.
