Xbox tabs/buttons not working

So when i turn on my xbox one none of the tabs/ buttons work.. Meaning i cant open any games or go to games and apps or anything.. Im aware that shutting it down and unplugging is a temporary fix but takes like 5-10 minutes but contineus to do it once i
turn off and turn back on.....

So i was wondering if theres a permanent fix to the problem.

Do my digital games save so i can download them again? If so ill try that.

When this happened to me it was bevause the oower cable wasnt fullt in. Check all cables are in tight.

Hopefully its the same issue i had. Hooe yiu get it sorted.

Thanks for the reply! Any games/apps that you own via your profile will remain available for download/installation and any game saves will also be available so long as your console was connected to the internet (not in offline mode). Please be sure to know
your credentials for logging into your profile (email address/password) as it will be removed during the reset. For further information on what to expect from the reset, I recommend our support article How

We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused but rest assured we are here to help.

We would like to troubleshoot the console itself a bit more in an effort to clear this up we suggest a full reset of the console from the Troubleshoot screen by using these steps :

Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
Press and hold the BIND (sync) button (located on the left side of the console) and the
EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
Xbox button on the console.
Continue holding the BIND (sync)
and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
BIND (sync) and
EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

Once the troubleshooting screen comes up select reset console and then select reset and remove everything. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes.
