Xbox System Update stuck

Hello

Since yesterday my Xbox one has been trying to do a system update. It says there is 378MB to download. It appears to get stuck at 20% (302MB to go)

It sits there for a while, then jumps to about 67%, appears to download a few more MB then stops with the following error:

There was a problem with the update

Source OS 10.0.17763.3062

Target OS 10.0.17763.3065

Error code 0x80070079 0x00000000 0x90120005

I have tried a wired connection to my hub and also doing a hard shutdown with no success.

Can you advise what the problem is or what I can try next?

I have tried this but I end being pointed to the error search page as mine is not listed

When i enter 80070079 the only 2 options are

1) checking status of xbox live (and it seems to be fine)

2) checking my network settings. but i cant check these offline and as soon as i go online it restarts the update process so i cant check the settings or packet loss etc

These are the only 2 options listed.

I'm sorry to hear the recent system update is getting stuck on your console. I'd be happy to provide some information.

You may need to factory reset the Xbox or eventually try an offline system update, but just follow the guide and it should lead you to the right solution.

Hi

The latest is that it is now getting to 95% (16MB to go) but doesn't seem to want to go any further.

I would estimate that the last 20 or 30 tries have errored at 95%

Is anyone else having this problem?

Has anyone else got any suggestions?

Will there be another update that might work?
