    I heard about a survey that you can do to get an extra home xbox switch. I followed all the instructions on how to get there, but upon arrival, I apparently wasn’t elligable for it. I was wondering how I can become eligable, or how I can get an extra
    home xbox switch.

    Hello Brennen,

    If you were unable to get the survey for the extra switch, there is no way to become eligible. You will just have to wait until a later time and try again.

    Customer support can’t offer additional switches. If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and need assistance, select Help when you see the message Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception. If you aren't given a survey, then you'll have to wait the year for your limit to reset on its own.

    Hi there

    The reason why it would of made a new account, is due to being on a different platform it will be automatically using his xbox account. You can log in at the epic games website, to his switch account. You may follow the steps provided here at Account
    merging

    There you will see how to link accounts. But definitely sign in on his primary account, being his switch account. And once logged in under settings there will be a list of options to link. You'll most likely need to sign in his xbox account to link it.
