thank you for your kind reply but you have to understand on daily basis we received huge number of scam call on our number and without any reference id if xbox person call us back that how do we recognised that call comes from the right person. It was already
happen with my banking system due to long que we request our bank for call back option in the mean while for banks call waiting i have to received 5 7 call unnecessary and one was one of them who claims they are from my bank ...we request microsoft to make
the support simple. So that chances of scam will be less rather then increase our risk factor ....i hope we have to close this conversation...still i was on the same place that if i paid on the number [mod removed] Is the safe or not as i paid to them $19.99
from my paypal?

If they stated they were a third party, then they wouldn't be anything official from Microsoft. Microsoft support does not charge. For future reference, to speak to Xbox support, you would need to request a call back at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

As it's not a number from Microsoft. we cannot say here whether it is safe or not. Doing a Google search on the number it does not appear to show on any official websites. If you feel it may have been a scam, then you would want to submit a claim through
Paypal.

Thank you for suggestion but after they did the work i am happy and able to play my game and i also see that their would no more transaction on my paypal.

As they informed me initially that they are third party and more over they satisfied me from their services..,let them took their charge ....,

They don't share the number on the internet anymore. If you find this number, you are visiting outdated websites.

A lot of people complained about having to wait in a waiting loop when calling support. So Microsoft changed the way on how that hotline works.

Instead of calling them, you simply go to
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and choose the category according to the issue you have.

After you selected the problem, a virtual assistant might try to help you (depending on the country you're in). You can then choose other options, and again choose a category that describes your issue.

The page then shows articles that are trying to help you with the issue, and if that doesn't do the trick, you can click on a button to show contact options.

Depending on the time of day and times of operation of the phone hotline, you can then choose a tile to request a callback from Microsoft Support, and the tile will also show your approximate waiting time.

That way, you don't have to wait in a waiting loop, and simply do other stuff until your phone rings, and you can then talk to original support staff.
