Xbox support issue.

Okay so, I sent my xbox in last month because it wasn't reading disc and about 2 weeks ago now I got it back from "Repairs" but it really wasn't repaired, the xbox didn't even turn on when i got it back.. I'v been contacting support and they kept telling
me i'll get an email within 48 hours and they keep lying.. I'm getting tired of this crap. The support is horrible, stop trying to avoid the issue? Last time I contacted support was wednesday and all they sent me was my ref number, it is now sunday? what is
the fricking deal.

General Xbox support issues!

It moves very slightly and creaks as I grip it.
The right hand side is much more solid, as it should be.

I don't particularly want to end up with it going fully faulty, but I have heard that you have to send the controller off and it's a couple of weeks before a replacement is sent.

fully understand, I would call them up and they should be able to sort it over the phone (they did for me for a drive issue), if its like a console repair they let you put a credit card down which they "hold" the cost on, send the item immediately and then release that hold when the receive your old unit back.Click to expand...

I'll have to look into this.
The idea of letting them hold a kind of payment while they send me a replacement and wait for the old one to reach them seems reasonable.
I'll have to get them to give me a call back as, if I remember correctly, it's quicker than calling them up and waiting on hold.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with issues trying to get back into your account.

Unfortunately, the only ways that we have right now to get back into your account are completing the
ACSR
and/or following the steps here on our page entitled
Recover and reset your lost Microsoft account password. If you cannot recover your account those ways then you can always create a new account.

I know this is not the most preferred answer but we have these security protocols set in order to keep any of your personal information safe from unauthorized access by other parties.
