    I bought Forza Horizon disc from Amazon in February, it doesn't work. By the time I went through all the troubleshoot process Amazon 10-Day return policy was over. It's still under warranty but Xbox support won't replace it. Amazon guys are asking for a
    'Service Denial letter' so they can replace but Xbox support won't even give that.

    Xbox support is the WORST

    It was 11 January 2016 and I had just downloaded the latest Xbox One update. While the updates were being applied, there was a power failure. Once the power was back, I powered on my console and was greeted with an error message which read "System
    Error. Contact Xbox Support" as well as an error code E203.


    I was asked to try to reset the console by usb flash drive but that didn't work.

    My warranty was to expire on the 16th January and I asked them to register a request for replacement which they didn't.

    I contacted Xbox Support several times via phone call, facebook, live chat, twitter, email, however, none of it seemed to have an effect on them. The support personnel are so ill trained that they are not sure of the way they could
    help. Support personnel always suggested to get the console replaced in INDIA (since I am in India). However, towards the end of the chat/call they would ask me to get it replaced from SINGAPORE since I bought it from there.

    And, now they haven't even been able to provide me an email to contact Xbox Support in Singapore.

    The twitter handle either ignores the tweet or provide no help. Maybe they tried to annoy me so that I forgot about the issue.

    I am writing this because I was advised by their Support personnel when I requested him to connect me with his superior.

    After this incident, I don't think I would suggest anybody to buy an Xbox One. NEVER BUY AN XBOX.

    I am thinking on FILING A CASE against MICROSOFT/XBOX in the Consumer Court in India. Can someone from India suggest regarding the process for the same?

    Xbox support is the worst

    There wouldn't be any service denial letter that Xbox Support can or would provide.

    You can try and contact Xbox Support via CHAT and get conformation with CHAT support that they can't help and then copy and paste that info to Amazon to see if they'd help.

    For future reference, try and buy the games digitally.

    i'm sorry to hear that!

    but in my country if i buy a game disc is cover by 2 years warranty and i have to ask to the shop!

    so this case is amazon! they should do something Xbox support is the worst ;)

  6. If your system recognizes you have put the disc in, you can go to the MS store on the console and view the game, since you have the disc in, you will be able to install from the store page. This will only work if your disc is recognized in the console though.

    In regards to the Microsoft Service, since your purchase was with Amazon, only they would be able to assist you with faulty good. As they are your point of purchase.

    If your system recognizes you have put the disc in, you can go to the MS store on the console and view the game, since you have the disc in, you will be able to install from the store page. This will only work if your disc is recognized in the console though.
