    Has anyone else had the peoblem where the people at XBOX support openly lie and dont take responsibility for whay they tell customers? Because I have.

    My conversations with them have been like talking to a brick wall (pardon thr cliché). I’ve repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor, which has never happened. I’ve submitted more than a dozen requests/complaints by phone and online about thr same case and
    all they do is continuously say the case is closed.

    I never agreed to closing the case because it hasn’t been resolved.

    XBOX support told me IN WRITING to use a game pass gift card to fo online and exchange it for Microsoft Credit. When we went to do thay, it didnt work and now XBOX says i have to return thr gift cards ro the retailer where i purchased them AFTER THE CODE
    HAS BEEN SCRATCHED as per their instructions. It seems to me to be pure incompetence on their part and a refusal to take responsibility for their own mistake and actions of their employees.

    Has anyone else encountered this level of incompetence from them?

    I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm afraid though that the first line of support are only Xbox gamers and many do not speak english as a main language. However, if your code did not work please try filling out the form at
    https://xbox.com/code to see if you're eligible for a replacement.

    Another option to bypass them is to try setting up a call back. Go to
    https://support.xbox.com
    and click on Contact Us then follow the billing path until you see the option to call back. There are many options so it might take you a few tries. I believe it's the I Don't Recognize a Charge one.

    The phone call will be returned by official Xbox Support who can further help you out.

    I am sorry your having problems I had the same issue but I never got my money back too but it was amazon I never have xbox lie to me you may have to take it back where you buy it from

    microsoft credit??!!! Im not sure why you were told that because NOTHING can be exchanged for credit!! Once a code is scratched off it CANNOT be returned to a store a store wont take that back...its already used. As stated I still dont know what you are trying
    to do. Please try to shed a little more light on the situation!!
