Xbox Support chat not working

I can't put my name into the boxes for xbox support chat; they are greyed out, anyway to fix that?

Xbox Support Chat not working...

So I've spent the past day trying to figure out the deal with the Halo 4 Spec code issue. Tried to use the chat prior to getting a link to the thread for it. When I try to connect directly for a Halo 4 issue, chat support routes me to an error page saying
that the page I was looking for didnt exist. I tried to get in through the other option. Made it clear it was a game issue and explained what the problem was. I get an error page saying that it couldnt connect me and that I should call directly.

Any reason that I cant use the Chat Support for any reason?

I've already chimed in on that thread, but I posted this thread about chat support not working because that is a problem in itself when I am hearing about other people being able to get through.

That's weird bud. Have you tried rebooting your pc. Also make sure your pc is fully updated by running windows update.

Double check your Microsoft Commerce account and make sure you have a fully updated billing address provided. Once you update that, you should be set.

I have this problem as well, you suggestion didn't fix anything

Hi,

Not quite sure why support chat wasn't working for you but this wouldn't be something that support chat / phone support would be able to assist you with.

If you haven't received your code you will want to make one single post in this section
here.

If you redeemed your code and you haven't received your specializations then you need to make sure that your at least SR50 (level 50) and that you've tried to re-download the file from your download history.

You should be able to do so by going to the Xbox 360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > Download History > Specialization Priority Alpha > Download / Add to Queue.

Then head back into the game and see if you have them unlocked.
