    ? Xbox support 4K?

Why is microsoft not giving us a cable to fully support 4k and 60hrz refresh rate. We spent $499.00 on this console and we cant use its full capabilities. Why? Why? Why?

  2. Xbox Support Support?

The Xbox support page only gives me the following options:

    • Ambassador Forum Access Support
    • Networking Hardware Information
    • TV Hardware Information
    • Xbox 360 Support
    • Xbox Error Codes
    • Xbox on Mobile Devices Support
    • Xbox on Windows Support
    • Xbox One Support
    • Xbox Rewards Support
I have an issue unrelated to all of these categories, but still related to Xbox (specifically, Microsoft's Game Content Usage Rules). Where can I go to post about these other topics?

PS: Obviously this post is in the wrong category, as there is no category for my category or a category about the fact that there is no category for my category.

    ? Xbox support 4K?

The HDMI cable included with Xbox One X does support 4K 60 Hz refresh rates. Are you receiving an error that suggests it is not?

  5. I had just purchased a One X for my partner, and the cable it had come with is a 4k 60Hz cable. Have you managed to set your console to 4k UHD? If not, you may want to check out the steps outlined on

    this page

Some TVs may ask to first enable 4K / HDR on specific outputs, please look into your TV Settings.

The Xbox one X/S cable is 4K ready and works with 60Hz

  10. As stated, the cable in the box does support 4k@60, what brand of TV are you connecting with, it's usually in the settings? Also some TVs only support 'ALL' 4k features on HDMI 1, so maybe start there?

Also make sure if a game has a 4K update, that you've downloaded and installed the update for it.

    ? Xbox support 4K?

As many people have already mentioned, the cable is able to support 4k/60hz. Likely your TV settings are not permitting this feature. I would suggest checking your HDR/4K settings and ensure that they are on, I had to do this for my TV when I first connected
my Xbox one x as well.

  14. Hi,

No doubt when you connected your console to your 4K TV and went to the screen settings you were shown a screen like this?

    ? Xbox support 4K? [IMG]

And you want a screen that looks like this:

    ? Xbox support 4K? [IMG]

    I am right?

The above isn't a fault of your console. The Xbox One X and its HDMI cable are fully capable of 4K@60.

To get your console to fully utilise 4K, you'll need to modify the settings on your TV. For that, you're going to need to look at your TV's user guide. If you've lost it, you should be able to find a PDF version from the internet, or via your TV manufacturers
    website.

    Things to note:

    1. Not all TV's support the full range of 4K capabilities.

    2. Not all of your TV's HDMI ports may support HDR.

    3. If it's possible to do so, HDR should be set to 'Auto' on the TV/monitor, not to 'on'. If you have HDR on all the time, none HDR games and videos will not show the correct colour luminescence - they'll be too bright and too rich. In other words, they'll
just look wrong. HDR auto will intelligently enable HDR when a HDR content is detected.

    4k gaming xbox one s

    Good day

The Xbox One S doesnt support 4k gaming. Only supports 4k movie viewing.

For 4k gaming you will need to have a Xbox One X and a 4k TV.
