Xbox suddenly "Updated" and removed all of my game capture vids

make videos for a different game. That way you don't waste your sweet vid capture gear.

It is certainly not a priority for them, they prefer to adapt old icons from the first Xbox (And there, a Microsoft employee took care of it personally and it was very fast… while it is totally useless) and Halo Infinite "interactive" wallpaper (lol) that solved a major problem.

I take my game captures only using the SSD connected to my Series X (4k/60fps, one hour of duration) but for a month, I have not been able to record ANYTHING… or else I have to go through the Twitch App, which doesn't even allow 60fps steaming on Series X (unlike the Twich App on PS5) and compresses videos too much. Suddenly, the result is disgusting compared to my homemade captures. But if Microsoft remove this option, I will sell this machine and go to PS5.

And what I do now: I turn off all automatic updates and I will find out before doing one. All these updates (games & consoles) are becoming more and more painful and rarely optimized…

Please Microsoft : Answer & Do something!

With regards to dying trying to take a capture, and now apparently having a capture button....

I dont see much of a difference between hitting a capture button, and hitting the big x button, then one more button to either capture screenshot or vid. One small extra button press, it's not that much of a game changer.

I'm sure, and hoping, there will be more innovation...

I can record in HD. Is there a way I can capture the vids then email/send them to you?
