    So today I was playing around on my xbox 360 and thought that I should switch my email since the one that is linked to my xbox account is OLD and I don't use it at all, I should switch to the email I commonly use for better protection. I went to my account
    and requested a change of email. The request went through and I was told that the change wouldn't take effect until 30 days, which I thought was a bit long but went with it anyway. I then logged into my account on my xbox one just to find out that my xbox
    live subscription has been canceled, or it just isn't taking effect seeing that my xbox 360 says I should still have xbox live until 4/13/14. All my xbox live gold access has been completed shut down. Is this because I requested an email change? Because this
    will be 30 days I'll be forced from using xbox live gold just because of an email change and who knows maybe my membership is still counting down even though it's not taking effect. Can someone please help!?!

    Congrats! The Live subscription works for both the 360 and Xbox One. It's not different subscriptions.

    I think you may need to speak with Phone Support. who can look into your account, see what is going on and hopefully get you sorted out:

    You won't get any support on the phone or at least you won't with UK support. I have just been told that they are no longer offering support on this issue and I now have to wait for the tech support lot in Seattle to deal with me.

    This is now the 8th day and I've had nothing from tech support despite being told that I would get an update or the account sorted by Friday. That date came and went and I've still had nothing.

    The service from Microsoft is a disgrace in this particular instance.
