    A few days ago, I had an annual recurring amount of $59.99 charged to my account. I currently don't use my Xbox 360 because we switched to Apple TV for streaming and don't play video games anymore.

    Do I need this Xbox live gold subscription to continue my Microsoft Office subscription? Or, am I within my rights to cancel and get a refund since it is irrelevant to me now?

    Please advise.

    Gold is not required for Office at all. It's only relevant to the Xbox. So you can cancel it.
