Xbox sub converting

If you go to the following site there is a FAQ at the bottom of the page that explains that when you redeem a subscription for Xbox Live or the normal Game Pass while already subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate, it will convert the time of that subscription
time to GPU at an equal value.

Speaking from experience since I just added 3 months of Game Pass to my account, which was converted to 2 months Game Pass Ultimate there should have been a warning prompt when you redeemed that subscription for 12 months of Xbox Live.

If you already had ultimate, and then redeemed your gold 12 month subscription, it would have automatically been converted to the 4 months on Ultimate. Conversion ratios are here.

The Game Pass Ultimate subscription has more features than an Xbox Live Gold subscription, thus the conversion.
