Xbox Stuck on green load screen, wiped itself of the profiles, and no games in ready to ...

So this morning I turn on my XBO to play the Rare Replay I had just downloaded and upon loading the game its just sat on the black load screen with the little 8 bit looking dude at the bottom right hand corner and would not go any further nor could i got
back to the home screen and couldn't turn off my xbox with a soft reset, so i had to do a hard reset. After the hard reset the xbox got stuck on the green screen with logo for about 30min before I had to do another hard boot. Then after that I sat on the same
green screen for about 10min then finally loaded up but no profiles where on the XBO anymore just the installed games I had on there. After loading back up 3 different profile I figured everything would be fine now but no it wasn't. My entire list of ready
to install game are not there and I mean none of them across all 3 profiles and the unhide combo keys don't do anything, and seeing as there dosn't seem to be anyway of just restoring the entire list I've had to resort to installing and uninstalling every
game I've ever played just to get them back on my list which is over 130 games. so my question is why did this even happen in the first place?
