    Xbox stuck on black screen


    I tried to boot up my Xbox One yesterday, got the initial green screen, and then a plain black screen. I tried a hard reset, pressing the power button for 10 seconds, unplugging everything, and plugging back in. Did not work. I also tried the manual update
    using a USB, but when I hold the bind and eject buttons, I don't hear the second tone that is supposed to sound. I've held both buttons for 30 seconds, thinking maybe I just stopped too soon. Still getting the initial green screen and then a black screen.
    Nothing is opening asking me to do the manual install using the flash drive. Help!

    Update Black screen

    After update xbox one will get stuck on a black screen and xbox loading screen.

    Xbox stuck on black screen

    Also tried leaving the Xbox on for 10+ minutes to see if something would eventually come up. Nothing though, still a black screen.

    What do you mean it opens at your home screen and then nothing? Are you stuck on the dashboard or is it a black or green screen?

    If you are stuck on a black or green screen you can try the offline diagnostic tool that has helped people get passed the blank screen before:
