Xbox stuck loading (Green screen of death)

Mine has been stuck on the green screen for hours I have tried unconnecting power and reseting but is still stuck on the green screen. is this possibly green screen of death?

Wow brilliant all the xbox fix videos stated to hold the Xbox button while doing this process, this must’ve turned it off each time. Pressing it once has done the trick Im now able to reset it. Il see how it goes. Thank you very much

Is there heat? Try to put some compressed air into it. Maybe other power supply?

Only I can advice is to try this:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

3. Press and hold the BIND (controller sync button located on the left side of the console or bottom right if a one S or one X) and the EJECT button and then just press the Xbox button on the console once.

4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

7. To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox.

9. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Thank you for the reply, Ive tried the xbox trouble shooter a couple of times however each time i get on that screen my xbox just turns itself off before I can press anything il try the compressed air and see If I have a different outcome

If the console is too old and has been used a lot, it could be a problem of overheating due to the unsuitable thermal paste. Does the console give out too much heat when it is operating?

No the xbox and the power supply don’t seemed to be overheated left it unplugged over night to see if it was an issue of the xbox being over heated however same problem.

Could be a case of the damage already being done.
