Xbox stuck in black and white

My Xbox series X All of a sudden started playing in black and white. It’s not my tv, because it will play everything else in color. And I don’t think it’s a setting, because I’ve already tried all of them. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

If your Xbox Series X is suddenly playing games in black and white and you've tried changing the settings and checked your TV, there could be a few possible causes. Kindly try the steps below and see if it helps.

1. Restart your Xbox: Turn off your Xbox, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.

2. Check your cables: Make sure the cables connecting your Xbox to your TV are properly plugged in and secure.

3. Check for updates: Make sure your Xbox is running the latest software update. You can check for updates by going to the "Settings" menu, selecting "System," and then "Updates."

4. Try a different TV input: If your Xbox is connected to a TV through an AV receiver, try switching to a different input on your TV to see if the issue is with the receiver.

5. Factory reset: If the issue persists, you may want to try a factory reset of your Xbox. This will erase all data and return your Xbox to its original settings. You can perform a factory reset by going to the "Settings" menu, selecting "System," and then "Reset console."

If none of these steps resolve the issue, I'm afraid this is already an issue with the Xbox itself so you may need to consider sending it in to have it repaired/replaced.

I tried that already. When its powered on it goes directly to that black and white update failed status screen its stuck there it won't even let me access the guide

1) is the power button for the Xbox BLACK, WHITE or CHROME?

1A) If it is CHROME, then bring the Xbox closer to the wireless router

1B) if BLACK or WHITE, what is the LED on the wireless adapter doing?
