Xbox struggles to load disks

    Xbox struggles to load disks


    Recently my Xbox one has selectively not loading

    disks. I first noticed it a few months ago with a Blu-Ray movie. I inserted the

    disk, it spun and then stopped. Never recognized the disk so it was not able to

    play. Luckily most my games are downloaded to the Xbox itself. I recently got a

    few new games, and it will read one of them for a random amount of time and

    then say to check the disk. It will not even read the second game.

    Annoying Loud Buzzing Sound

    It sounds like the cd drive is starting to break but if you have opened your console you have a void warranty on the console. dose it struggle to load from disks or just certain disks?

    Putting on Hard drive

    Never mind found it. load first disk then in game menu gives you option to load second disk

    No it still buzzes it sound like its struggling to spin the disk and the buzz gets louder when it spins the disk

    Thanks for your replies, i have hard reset the xbox and disconnected the power cord, it worked for that one time, but then it went back to struggling to read the disk, it's a very odd problem considering its only with 1 disk and i've replaced the disk. I
    will try your strategy next time DB, thanks.
