Xbox streaming doesn't work.

Hi everyone!

So I'm having trouble connecting my Xbox One S to Windows 10 for game streaming. It gives me this error:

We couldn't connect to your console. Make sure the console is still on and connected to the same network as this device.

I've tried all the troubleshooting steps on the streaming page and nothing works, I've also tried tons of suggestions on other forums but it just doesn't connect. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

are you connected through wifi or ethernet cable?

Hey there this is very unfortunate indeed.

A tip would be to first test your NAT type and your internet connection

Do a hard reset of your xbox to make sure that everything is running properly

Try cycling your mac address on your xbox - Has helped me a few times

Sign out your account on the pc and on xbox and sign back in

Make sure your PC and XBOX are connected to the same network

Solution 1:

Navigate to your console’s Settings page

Go to Preferences > select Xbox app connectivity

Then enable the option ‘Allow game streaming to other devices’.

Solution 2:

Update xbox app.

Solution 3:

Disable Game DVR and try to connect.

None of these worked for me. Any other suggestions?
