Xbox stores Service Alert?

When I test my Xbox live connection I get an Xbox stores service alert. When I choose More info, it gives me a NAT error. The xbox live service status (Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage)
shows all systems green.

And btw I'm using Internet Connection Sharing with the Xbox connected to my laptop using an ethernet cable and my laptop is connected to my Wi-fi. I cannot connect the xbox directly to Wi-fi since it's the old one and doesn't have in-built wifi. I also cannot
connect it directly to the router since the latter is in a different room. I've used this setup before and it worked without any NAT errors.

I'm sorry to hear about the NAT issue on your Xbox 360! Unfortunately, network cards in laptops aren't built to support the internet traffic that's required for the Xbox 360 console. Even though you weren't getting a NAT error before, there aren't any settings
you can change in your PC to resolve this. We highly suggest purchasing an Xbox 360 wireless adapter or longer ethernet cable so you can plug directly into your router. However, I would still try the troubleshooting steps in this
NAT troubletshoot page!

 

I bought a wireless boost hotspot for xbox live and in my network settings when I test xbox live connection I get in the Live Status there is a yellow ! Saying xbox stores: service alert but everythng else is connected and up. What canI do to fix the problem.
I have wasted 4hrs trying to figure it out. Please let me know

 

I'm having the same problem with the yellow marker on Xbox store: service alert. I've tested the connection and tried my boingo wireless than to my base's wifi. Still the same. Would like to play online.
