Xbox store won’t load “something went wrong”

I'm sorry to hear that you are having this problem with the Xbox store, you mentioned that you have already performed the power cycle which consists of disconnecting the power but I am going to recommend some steps that can solve the problem.

To continue ruling out problems, I am going to ask you to do the ignition cycle again, following these steps:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it turns off completely.
2. Unplug the console power cord from the console and electrical outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try deleting and re-adding your profile in the console. If you don't know how to do it, you can access the following link:

Also unplug your router from the power for about 3 minutes. Then plug it in again and when everything is working, try again.

If the problem persists, this may be a bit strange, but try this instead:

Go to settings > system > language & location > temporarily select English (US) - United States or English (UK) - United Kingdom

Once the console restarts, check if you can open the Xbox store without problems.

As a final step, in case the last ones did not work, I will ask you to restore the console while keeping your games and applications. This process will not delete any data from your account, it will only fix/restore any corrupt files that are on the system.

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information > Reset console.
3. Select Reset and keep my games and apps. This will reset the operating system and remove all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

For me it just says "Something went wrong. Try your gamer tag again" and won’t do anything. Even trying it online doesn’t work. Won’t let me confirm that I want to change it.

Jesse I need help. I sent my Xbox into Microsoft because they thought the reason none of the games would load was because of the Xbox one. I just received it back and went through all the steps to set it up again. I went to the library and it just spins and won’t show any games. I went to the store and I can see ones I purchased but when I click on them it just spins. Nothing will come up. Any ideas what is wrong?
