Xbox store will not let me download the free games with gold Xbox 360 game.

Whenever I tried to download Saints Row IV I was given this message"Sorry, Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox." I was trying to download this game while I was on the Xbox one
console. My account is not an adults account but I have all the permissions necessary in order to have an adult account. I have also downloaded different games on the Xbox store that are the same ESRB rating.

Cant download 360 Games on Games with Gold even though i have a credit card connected to my account.

I have a Xbox Live Gold account on my Xbox one and i can download and play all Xbox One Games taht are offered free with Games with Gold. But when i try to download the free xbox 360 titles, it says "this purchase channel requires a billing account". I have
paypal AND a credit card linked to my account. How can i get access to the Xbox 360 Games? When i try to download them from the store, the store wants to charge me the usual price for the titles, even though golden letters above the pricetag say "FREE WITH
XBOX GOLD".

problem with the games with gold

I have a problem with the games with gold. I can download the Xbox One games on my Xbox One but whenever I try to download the free Xbox 360 games, it says buy for free and when i press it, it goes to a blue screen. Same with the Internet Explorer, it just
says go to the Xbox store and download it, which I obviously can't do.. I do not have a Xbox 360 in order to download the free Xbox 360 games with games with gold, so it can automatically pop up in my Install on the Xbox One. So my question is, "How do I download
the free Xbox 360 games without an Xbox 360?"

Have you tried downloading SRIV from the website?

If you still have a 360 it should allow you to download (or just start it) to the 360 console, and then you'll have it on your account. Then you should be able to download it to the One.

The reason you are receiving that error message is because of the simple fact that your account is a Child Account. The Xbox One and Xbox 360 use different marketplaces to allow gamers to buy and download games. In this case, Saints Row IV is a 360 title
that is rated M (or 18+ for some). Because of this, your 360 permissions do not transfer to the Xbox One store. In order to download the game you have two options: First, you could have a parent account sign in with an active Gold subscription of their own
and download the game. Second, you could use an Xbox 360 to download the game and have it waiting in Ready to Install. Other than those two methods, there is no way to bypass the system.

Check the 'free to play' section on the store, there's a couple of free Xbox 360 games on there, though I'm not too sure they'll be suitable for a 4 year old.

With your Xbox Live Gold subscription, you get access to 'Games with Gold', these are free games every month, usually including a 360 game or two.

This months 360 game with gold is Viva Pinata: Party Animals, you'll be able to download this for free from the store. Might be worth checking out!

So to understand what it is that is trying to be done is that you are trying to download the two free games with gold for Xbox One on an Xbox 360?

I believe the error may be related to the difference in the store and marketplace for Xbox One games and Xbox 360 games. It may be that you will need an Xbox One to download those free games to your account as you can download the 360 game with gold but
not the Xbox One games. Also the 360 is not capable of downloading games for the Xbox One so that's another reason why it's giving you the error because the game needs to download to be applied to the account. That may just be how it is set up by design.
