I really like the idea of downloading games straight to my hard drive, the only issue I have is the 54,99 cost and no disc as back up support,

Take titan fall, brought from Game UK for £46.99 (hard copy). the next day the game was down £42.99,

Microsoft/Xbox if you want a too make the Xbox store viable rejuice your price in line with local prices and have the option to have a disc sent through the post ..

if games were where prices at £42.99 with a disc sent by post id never go to a game store

    :)

  2. Who is still waiting for a delivery?

Online shopping is killing off the high street store lol clearly you have been living under a rock as loads of high street chains have gone due to the fact they cant compete with the internet

I agree they are majorly overpriced. But unfortunately it's going to remain that way for a while.

Microsoft(and Sony) are scared of upsetting retailers.

If digital downloads were competitively priced it would be a major blow to disc sales. This would upset retailers who could retaliate by refusing to sell the consoles.

It is unfortunate and means I've had to buy discs for some of my games when I would rather go all digital as well.

I understand your frustration, unfortunately Microsoft doesn't check this particular forum for feedback. You should post here

    forums.xbox.com/.../2601.aspx
Also keep in mind it is the publisher of games who sets prices for digital items not Microsoft

You can purchase prepaid Xbox Live cards from many high street stores and supermarkets.

    Titanfall digital price?

because soon the high street will be dead, this is the problem with the internet in a whole, and the high street stores have to sell cheaper to stay in business, this will soon change as more and more cant afford to stay alive and then everyone will have
to go digital, also digital downloads have to be slightly higher than the shops due to competition laws.
