Xbox store search is not working on console .

Thanks for reaching out to the Xbox forums! I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with searching for items in the Xbox store on your console.

Have you performed a hard reset? Hold the power button on your console down for 10 seconds while the console is on to perform a hard reset. After the console turns off, leave it off for about 30 seconds before powering it on again via the power button on the console. All your data will be preserved but the cache will be cleared and some of your settings may reset.

If you are still having issues, you can try resetting your console to factory defaults. Please look at the link provided below on how to reset your console to factory defaults. If you choose “Reset and keep my games & apps”, it’ll reset the OS but keep your data.

If that didn't work, please insert the game disc on your console and go to the Xbox Store and manually search Minecraft game. There should be an option to install it from there.

There is a glitch on the Xbox website store that causes it to hide downloadable demos for Xbox one. Since I prefer using the Xbox website for these purchases because it is the most efficient input method, I didn't realize what was going on until now.

Try searching for your game demos using the Xbox One's store. For example, search for Screamride and see what results you get on the Xbox store website (xbox.com). In my case I only see Screamride for purchase for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, plus a downloadable
demo for Xbox 360 ONLY; When I use my Xbox One's store and use the search term "screamride demo", I locate the Xbox One demo right away. It also works if using the smartphone app, but not remotely.

So I think the website store is filtering store results for some reason.

Maybe there is the risk of console ambiguity on Xbox One that doesn't exist on Xbox 360. On the 360, your purchase goes to your designated console, not to secondary or friends' consoles. I'm just speculating that Microsoft hasn't yet worked this out for
Xbox One.... Work in progress?

We appreciate your coming to the Xbox community, and we're sorry you're having this issue. What's happening on your console is a little weird, could you tell if you're using a chat pad connected to the controller to type in names, or are you using the controller itself?

Anyway, I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button.

Open Settings.

Go to Network and select Network settings.

Select Advanced settings.

Select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Select Restart.

Solution 3:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

- Select the option to keep your games and apps so that they are not deleted, make sure you know your email and password as they will be removed from the console and you will need to add them again.

You Tried Search in Store of the windows 10? First you need Desinstall the older version, then you go in Store and Type Xbox Console Companion and make a search, you go find it
