Xbox store issue

I have been trying to redeem a code that has not been redeem yet but I keep getting "try again later sometjing happened on our end"message I've tried hard resetting my xbox internet everything I can think of and it's not working but and buddy was just
in the store and it was working. And I'm not seeing any outages
