Xbox store is completely broken.

I've had some problems with the windows store for a while now but every time a problem came up I was able to fix it on my own. But now nothing works and I'm getting sick of windows breaking every time I want to play a game. To download and play games I'm using the Xbox store because I have the Xbox game pass.

The problems I'm having:

1. waspx breaks my pc to the point it won't log in correctly (here is the video: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0LF9e8en8Z6yLRXBnVIg-2tdQ )

2. I can't install games because of the Error code 0X80073d0d .

3. Can't play games because the file location is wrong.

Things I tried to fix the problems:

1. completely reinstall windows 10.

2. Repair Gaming Services

3. Reset Gaming Services

4. Hardware check to see if my hdd's works correctly

5. Run WSRESET in administrator mode.

6. Opening Registry editor to look at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Appx\PackageVolumes but everything looks oke

7. And I tried resetting the Gaming Services with Powershell

Some of these solutions worked for a few days but then it broke again. Does anyone have a solution?

I tried everything again and it still won't work and I think you're right that this won't get fixed without a patch from Microsoft. What I just don't get is that this has been a problem for a couple of years now and Microsoft still hasn't fixed it. And it's like why the frick haven't they fixed it they are a TRILLION Dollar company. I know you probably won't have an answer for this but let's hope it gets better with Windows 11. ( But with their track record of good and bad operating systems I don't think so. ) Anyway sorry for my ranting and I hope you will have a nice day.

So, yes, lately, the xbox app has been giving a hard time haha, so, this has happen to me also and, what I do when the common solutions stop working is to see first if the windows has any pending updates, if not I restore it keeping my files and data and if that does not work I try the steps with powershell again after the reset, it usually works. Unfortunately, this is happening a lot with the last versions of the windows 10. :/ Only a repair patch update of the OS and the Gamepass app will fix this for good. :/

Please, reset the store:

Press the Windows key +R

Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Follow the prompts.

Restart your PC.

Then, to fix the game chashing, repair the XBOX app installation:

Press the Windows Key+X > Select Apps > Search for XBOX > Advanced > Restore

Then, on the same page, press Repair.

Restart your PC and follow these steps:

Launch the Xbox app for PC.

Click your Profile picture.

Click on Support.

Click on Gaming Services Repair Tool.

Click on Start Troubleshooting.

Type services.msc and press Enter.
Find and open Microsoft Store Install Services.
If the service is already running, click Stop > Start to restart it.
Restart your computer and check if the Install button is now available"

This fixed my store and xbox apps.

I just reinstalled windows 11 and the problem persists. However, I created a new account on my machine and tried starting xbox there and it works fine. This is a Microsoft account problem of some kind.

Xbox store is completely broken.
