    XBox Store failing on XBox One


    I've gotten 2 separate error codes 0x80131505, 0x80131500. This happened on a used XBox One after resetting back to factory settings. I have all current updates for the system and app. I've hard reset it, I've changed the MAC address. It's doing this on
    multiple profiles. What can I do to fix this?

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to view the Store on your console.

    There is currently an
    Xbox Live Service Alert     that covers the Purchase and Content Usage. More specifically, browsing the Xbox Games Store.

    The outage was officially reported at a certain time, however it is likely that this has been occurring over a far longer period of time and is currently pending a resolution.

    I recommend waiting until this Service Alert is resolved and attempting to try viewing the Store once more.

    I'm sorry about any confusion this might have caused.

    Yep the one in the Xbox Store. Downloads to Xbox one hard drive ok, but then tries to update before launching and fails.

    I had a similar problem. Fortunately there are 3 options for making and managing purchases: the xbox store, the website, and the windows store app. Whenever one of these fails, the other resolves.
