Xbox stopped turning on TV and Directv box

Out of the blue my xbox stopped turning my tv on and off, it also won't control my tv at all as far as volume goes. I tried completly turning off the xbox and this worked temporarly, but it has started acting up again. Any suggestions? FYI I have a Samsung
UN50F6300.

Directv X1 TV signal was lost

I have gone thru the tv setup, and it detects the tv and cable box no problem.

I have also tried leaving the directv box on and turning the xbox off and when i turn it back on it again says it lost connection.

As soon as i press the off button on the directv and then back on, the xbox gets the signal.

Anything else?

 

direct tv not working

Xbox One killed my Directv Genie box or my tv. Maybe not "killed" it, but the TV and/or the Directv box thought the XboxOne was an external recording device and now I can't watch TV through HDMI according to the Directv tech I spoke with.

I would go and reset tv devices, remove them and re add them again.

I also do a total reboot once per week which seems to keep my system running optimal until patches come along.

Gave it a try and it didn't work, hopefully they come out with a patch if other people are having the same problem.
