    XBOX Stopped responding to Iphone app a week ago


    Hello

    About a week ago wife and I notices that our xboxes would no longer respond to the iphone xbox app.

    1) the volume control works

    2) it sees and connects to the xbox and even shows what its playing (bottom of app)

    3) But when you press the controller option none of the virtual buttons make the xbox do anything.

    Its both of our phones.

    We have the latest iphones

    We tries the following

    1) reload app

    2) reboot xbox

    3) Uninstall app, reboot phone, reboot xbox, reinstall app, reconnect to xbox

    4) downloaded latest iphone version

    5) do everything again

    But same issue

    Hard to believe its just us.

    Anyone?

    XBOX Stopped responding to Iphone app a week ago

    Have you verified console settings? Try booting up your xbox and going to the settings tab. go to the system category and click on the updates and downloads sub cat. ensure allow mobile management is turned on. Also under the "Devices & Streaming" Cat. goto
    Device Connections and make sure the xbox app is allowed to connect .

    hope this helps. if you're still having issues after verifying these settings let me know, theres a couple other settings to check out
